Lovely sunny day down here in Kent so we took a spin down to our favourite coastal town of Whitstable for a walk along the promenade followed by a coffee in the Castle tea-rooms. Nice to get the Morgan out.

Had to go to the MOT before 12 February. Cold but sunny today. Bad luck, had to queue for an hour at the inspection station.
But with MattMog everything okay. We can have another year of fun. If the pandemic doesn't decide otherwise.
Nice cold drive (ride) back and forth 25 Km.

Yes so sunny here so a blast out to fix the MIL problems with her TV & home the long way.

A quick trip down to BHM for replacement king-pins and fitting of SSL suspension. Won't be picking it up until Saturday (storm Eunice permitting).
We found that the A25 is closed (again!) when approaching BHM from the Maidstone direction. Although it says it reopens on the 19th Feb, who knows after last time!! Chatting to Sarah she reckons the road has been closed more than it's been open over the last two years.

Nice run out to the gym in the sun, then took the long way back - all safely (I hope) tucked away in readiness for Eunice to do her worst!

Last week, finaly, after a long period of realy ugly weather conditions, the roads were dry, salt free an there was even a bit of blue sky and sunshine. So I took my Moggie for a spin. The engine immediately started, but I had the impression, that it did not run round. Same on the road.

After I came back, started to investigate. The left exhaust had an other „note“ than the right, so, on the left bank, I pulled one spark plug cable after the other, to find out, that number one cylinder was not firing.

Ignition problem? Or even worse, the injection?

Long story short… the spark plug was deffective. To my surprise… as all plugs have been changed two years ago and the car has been driven for less than 7000km since then.

But everything seems fine now. Looking forward for decent weather for the road test.
