If this is the new M3W (I guess it is), it looks incredibly long to me! Even longer than a regular Plus Four / Six? pantsdown

That drone is using a very wide angle lens that distorts more at the edges. I wondered the same thing, but it is very hard to tell given the lens being used.

I agree, the picture is distorted. The wheel appears very squat and wide, which is either a new way to irritate new owners, or picture distortion. I'll give Morgan the benefit of the doubt on this one and say it is the later.

According to Morris - “Around 2012, we were selling 28 cars a week in total, We believe the new model could help us match or even beat those figures.”

Having been an exec of a UK Caravan and Motorhome manufacturer i can assure you that not all manufactures do it the same way.

I have to disagree - I think it would rather shonky and smack of desperation, more akin to GCSE results day at your local Comp....

The Plus Six and Plus Four launches (the latter hampered by Covid) have been pretty classy affairs commensurate with a high end specialist manufacturer.

There was no need to denigrate the education system for a cheap joke.

No denigration. I am a teacher and spend every year with my GCSE and GCE students getting their results. Just it's more 'local news' rather than high end car launch.....

What a wonderfully clever way to tease an audience.
Morgan would have approved, and to an extent choreographed the fly by so you could not blame them for having some fun with the public and TM readership.....
bloody well done in any case

I can't think of anything more depressing for a unique motorcar launch than 50 "punters" stood behind waving their deposit paperwork, certainly wouldn't be hyping it up. Having Ian and a few crew showing the living history of the 3 wheeler and talking enthusiastically about the exciting adventures of owning and touring in one to the press I think is great.

Quite right Bruce 50 "Punters" waving their deposit paperwork is a ludicrous thought.
Those of you who know what goes on in the M3W world are aware that MTWC Touring Group has brought fresh ideas to the scene,
The Group is where serious owners are and this is proven by the popularity of the many events we put on each year.
Morgan are aware of this and worked with us. We have a large number of members who actually use their Morgan 3W in a way that belies what was ever thought would be done with them.
Morgan have seen the exploits of our members who have shipped their M3W to USA, New Zealand and driven to places like Nordcap and throughout Europe.
Many TG owners cover thousands of miles each year ( including me) Morgan admit to being somewhat surprised at the numbers of us who are having fun like this. We don't talk it , We do it !
As a result Morgan's design team freely admit that the "New" 3 Wheeler has had design features built in to cater for serious Touring. Go Pro mounts, luggage carrying options and much more. Morgan have also learnt lessons from the previous model.
The new M3W has undergone very significant road and track mileage, there are actually six prototypes ! that have been running in different parts of the country. This is not going to be a rushed out launch of a new model.
The event of Thursday 24th February was announced as a Press Launch and is just the start of the new vehicles revealing. There are other similar events planned in the months ahead and at these there will be ample opportunities to look at and have a go !
I believe that by inviting the owners group to display current and past MOGS the company are showing a great commitment to the future of the new car.
We have been asked to be a part of the evenings launch by displaying some cars that are used by their owners.
We, at MTWC Touring Group wish them every success with their new M3W and intend to do all we can to help the Press Launch Night be a great show.
Ian Parkinson,
Touring Group

Well done Ian!
Hope it all goes well. I'll probably miss the reveal to staff as I'm not in that day (and I'm trying to resolve problems with another of my, non-Morgan, cars).

Yes well said Ian.

From what I’ve heard talking to the dealer network, they were hugely impressed at the big reveal they were given and was like none other before.
