I get the “the proof of the pudding” stuff but to me the new Super3 looks to be a much more refined package than its predecessor so all credit to MMC for learning lessons and maturing it’s design and development function into what looks to be a more competent and internally respected outfit. Now the “Four” “Six” and “3” are done, apart from electrification I wonder what this well-honed team will turn to now? I for one am quite excited that after a long string of catastrophic exhaust failures on all Brooklands M3W models, I have been promised that the problem has been taken up by MMC design and development to come up with a better Brooklands Exhaust System over the next 2-3 months. AT LAST!

Hopefully they get the Brooklands sorted once and for all. Next off the line will be the Super T3 or Super S3 (Turbo / Supercharger) versions 😀

An “Academy” series car? A race ready version with it’s own class for racing. Caterham have been doing this with a package to help newcomers to racing. Old trad chassis to keep cost down? A retro racer. No need for bling and frilly bits, just race required mods. Use the KISS principle and Lotus low weight ethos.

I have a feeling we will sea the return of a Aero type car. Aero Six perhaps. They have skilfully raised the price of their offerings and I believe there is room for something above the Plus Six.

A pure guess, but as the current range refresh of the existing models has been released in the last four years (which is remarkably rapid) then maybe it's time for something new. & since Morgan reuse other manufacturers' powertrains, 'new' means reusing power from Ford or BMW's toybox.
Back in 2000 the Aero was used to showcase new technology & design. So what chance a new Aero Coupe (which wouldn't compete with the Plus 6 on style) and a hybrid EV powertrain? Packaging lessons learned from the Plus developments would give plenty of cabin space, with a long flat luggage deck, reached by an opening glass hatch in a Plus 4 SLR-style rear shell. With a low centre of gravity, heavier nose/lighter tail weight distribution, & rear wheel drive, the car would feel like a Morgan.
I'd guess the CX platform has already been designed to accommodate hybrid power. Something like the powertrain from the hybrid BMW 2 series Active Tourer model - which gives over 300bhp and quick charging tech with an electric range of c50 miles.
& then launch hybrid Plus 4 and 6 over the next couple of years - with BMW's approach of using the same petrol engine in both 4 & 6, in different states of tune, to produce the two different models.
Hybrids can be sold up to 2035, so the range would have a 10 year production run.
Just my 2 cents
Will

Be good to see a 3/4 to replace the 4/4 with the Ford 995 ,3 cylinder turbo engine as in the Fiesta. Hopefully at an "affordable" price.

Will I concur. The two BMW motors used by MMC are designed to function as PHEVs.

'4 seater take on the Plus 4
New generation of the +4+
Packaging the PHEV Plus 4/6 might prove interesting? I suspect the packing would need to make it a BEV?
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

SLR version of the Plus Four? Super 3 with optional hardtop system? Super 3 with a rear axle and 4 wheels to make a Super 4? Race optimized version of Plus 4 (Plus 4CL in honour of Chris Lawrence)?
