The time has come to replace my ZV7s. Has anybody got any experience of Avon AS7 All Season boots?

Haven't tried them as happy with factory fit ZV7's. Happy enough to have fitted them to Mini as well. AS7 seem to score well on braking being marginally better than ZV7 wet and dry although slightly worse on handling, but at least have a rating for snow. Criticised for high rolling resistance though and noisier than ZV7.

I don't know of anyone (yet) who runs All Season tyres on a Trad, will be interesting to see how you get on John

I may chicken out and stick with ZV7s as they are a very good tyre.

Never tried the AS7, my favoured all-season tyre manufacturers are Nokian and Vredestein. I would agree though that you do get a little more rolling resistance compared with a summer tyre and hence the fuel consumption increases correspondingly. To counter that I do also find that all-season tyres last longer, IE higher mileage before the tread wears down.
Cheers, Paul
