Richard .... sorry to be forced to issue a public rebuke!! 🙂 ..... but as a Londoner who got lost and kept wandering North til he fetched up in the lovely NE of Scotland 30 years ago ..... Johnson and Khan are the heirs to a mighty tradition of 'Mayors of London' stretching all the way back to 2000.🤏

'Lord Mayors of London' however number in the 600s and go back not far short of 1000 years ... completely different animal and not to be compared with those grubby Party-Political johnny come latelys.!!

K, I think that was Gerry Willburn`s one off Morgan. Gerry and his good lady Barbara were Stalwarts of the California Classic car and yachting scene over many decades Sadly I posted a note recently that Barbara had passed away recently. Gerry still sends me a copy of FORMAT, the mag of the Californian Morgan Plus Four Club each month... A real American gentleman and long time Morgan enthusiast.

Certainly a handsome old car .... handles being a tintop very well .... suicide doors are very period.... good to have some background .... so many times you just have an orphan picture!

K

Ps do I guess from the RHD and reg plate it was originally a UK car? .... would be interesting to know the original coachbuilder

K, the Plus 4 Saloon is listed in the book Original Morgan as a 1952 build by the company Arwyn identified, Gerry bought it as a wreck and fully restored to concours condition.
