i have removed the S&S stealth air filter and gone back to OEM and the G56 cover. I have for sale the S&S along with the 1 inch larger filter. $400 and they are yours. did not get the cover.... I liked the look of the G5 and so went back to it and the so called covers they had were only garnish on the front and the filter was still exposed

For those who are worried about the exposed filter letting water into the engine you can purchase a rain sock from S&S. I have one on my filter not for the rain but for the dust, I live on a VERY dusty dirt track and the sock stops the dust getting into the filter (unfortunately not the flight deck or pilot). I just take the sock off and wash it when it looks dirty, there is no restriction to air flow when using the sock.
