OK. Got my entire head under the dash of the '95 Plus 8 and lo and behold there's a toggle switch just above the heater control knob. Will TRY a photo, but who knows............... Cheers Tom https://ibb.co/1nf1X9y

Sure looks factory to me. I'm pretty aware of all the previous owners and am pretty sure they didn't install it.
Car's a '95 but only has 7K miles.
BTW: How did you get the photo to open in the reply! What am I missing?

My 70 +8 has one .Its to turn the rad fan on manually. Bypasses the thermostat switch.
