If you get them to vary the design in a very small way would this not get around the copyright issue ?

The modern incarnation of Morgan Wings is robustly protected.

The previous version, prior to maybe 2009, not so much, especially if only for personal use.

MSCC have permission to use the older version, but not the current version, last time I looked.

A local company to us did a Morgan embroidery on a shirt for a very good price for an owner, no big initial pattern cost and done from a sketch of a Morgan, not a copy of an original Morgan logo. They do sports clothing for clubs etc and were willing to do it on a shirt ( denim type) the customer provided. If I remember correctly it cost less than £20.

Could try one of the dealers that have a trim shop (Like AW). They may have permission to embroider the logo (at a cost smile )

As others have said, just buy a ready-embroiderd one on Ebay (not a patch, but just the wings). I thought of getting a logo embroiderd on my cover, but that was on the too complicated pile. Some of the wings are self-adhesive (iron-on), otherwise just use Evo Stik or Copydex. If you want a neat job (and you do, don't you...) trace around the wings onto a sheet of notepaper, then carefully cut out the shape with a craft knife. That way you have a perfect mask to work with for the "other side" of the adhesive (hold the mask in place with masking tape).

While we are on the subject, what about the word MORGAN that you see on some cars bonnets. About 12 " long. Is that paint, or an available sticker?
