Just picked up our new Plus Four this week and are busy putting a few miles on it and learning all its little foibles.
Interesting thing we learnt today was regarding the central locking. If you use the remote fob to lock both doors you can then slide the window back reach inside and unlock the doors via the interior handle - very safe! Strangely if you lock the drivers door using the key then it stays locked if you try to open from inside. The problem is you can't lock the passenger door with the key. Whichever method you use it leaves a very vulnerable vehicle.
Have we found our first fault or is this how it's meant to be?

I would lock my old Plus 4 just to deter “over-inquisitive” people. Not everyone spots the sliding windows! The locks never keep professional thieves away, but Morgans are not often targets for those people.

Not sure, in 18 years of Morgan's I've never locked one the way I see it saves a slashed cover or roof leaving it unlocked.
It's all about your own comfort zone though and where you live and or park up I suppose.

My Plus Four is exactly the same, it locks the doors outside but you can open them from the in side, mind you, every new car is the same.

A local Morgan group once had all their luggage nicked while on a tour - the thieves knew that they could slide the window and use the lever to pop the rear roof section.

My Plus Four is exactly the same, it locks the doors outside but you can open them from the in side, mind you, every new car is the same. Thats a good point - if I lock my Corsa with the central locking you can open it from the inside with just the door handle. Not tried locking it with the key.
