I have owned a number of Morgans. Spent 7 years restoring my first from bare frame up, a 1961 +4. MMC was fun to work with at that time and I ordered a whole new wooden chassis, newly skinned doors and other sheet metal parts missing. Took a long time but when it arrived it was ART. I reskinned the original panels to the wooden chassis and only cut about 1/2 inch in one place. They told me the guy who originally built the 61 chassis probably built my replacement.

I have been slowly working on the 1934 MX4 SS. Another from bare chassis restoration. There are a LOT of good people who help other owners out, again Forums and the internet have been a godsend. Try getting spares for this one when so much was one off it seems. It has been possible...but I needed to find the right person/place to get 'er done. I had to sell my 36 M3W I picked up for restoration money and it went to India. The restorer there sends me pictures periodically and he is doing a fantastic job.

Now I have a modern M3W. It's is a keeper for me and I have been making improvements produced by others outside the MMC...lots of Emil great stuff and soon to have Phil's amazing improvements. I ordered mine custom from the factory. I never heard back from MCC until it hit the shores here in the US. They were unresponsive to emails and calls. Very different experience from the first restoration that made me a Morgan fan. I tried to order the rack...no MMC response. Bought it from a dealer in the UK.

Personally, I believe that 3rd parties and People like Phil will keep us new M3Wers going into the sunset.
