I recently inquired about ordering Ohlin shocks for my M3W from Ohlin USA. The following was the response. Sad.

“ I’m sorry but some critical parts have went discontinued to be able to make M3W shocks. We never got any volume from these, so they never made it to production. We were having to hand build them here at Öhlins USA. But I got an inquiry just a month ago and after researching, we found some parts NLA. When checking to see if they would be restocked at any point, we were told they wouldn't....to low volume request. And they didn't like us custom building the shocks here to begin with without their R&D involved.

For a project to be started in Sweden, the MOQ would have to be 500 sets. That was just not possible for M3W's.

So unfortunately, we can't fill this request. My apologies.”

Contact Craig at M3WServices in the UK. As far as I know he is still supplying Ohlins and maybe able to ship to the US.

You might like to try Krazy Horse in the UK. I have just taken delivery of a set (black springs) they have or had a set of each colour.

Thanks for your recommendation.

I guess I’m a little reluctant to order a set already made up because the rep here in the States was custom making each order based on Ohlin requested measurements made by the installer. He told me they found a variance among M3W so did not make a standard set available to everyone.

Thanks again everyone. Should have ordered these a while ago. I tried in early 2020 but was told to try again later because Covid was causing some shutdown issues with Ohlin at that time.

the only thing that really varies is the width of the mounting tabs. I think the placement of those tabs is probably close enough to not worry about. my front tabs mounted the end of the shock so it touches the frame at top of the shock yet the bolts slid right in without forcing. The shocks are aluminum and the frame steel so any rubbing would wear the top of the shock a bit and not where it would impair longeviety of the shock.

Agreed, only thing that varied bike-bike were the spacing requirements. I know it drove Ohlin USA nuts to deal with this. Variance solved with SS washers, easy.

or just machine your own bushings and spacers for the rear. The fronts are definitely a washer fix.

Funny I did the same thing. No problem at all. Shame they pulled the plug as the shocks are great on the Morgan. I though they were off the shelf shocks made for other motorcycles to begin with?
