Felixstowe to Derby but not in my car but Hawki's Plus 4 to help him get his manual duck clutch fixed. We were successful & I had the pleasure of being the passenger coming back

Looks like that was a 350 mile round trip. Great result though and you both got to drive

Wow that does look cold Gordon, we have 13 here today so just a shirt for me. I think it would have put him off forever up by you, my word that does look perishing. We have quite a few on the local beaches today which we passed on the way to lunch at The Taphouse is an extension of the cafe actually inside the South Hams Brewery and a nice spot too. for no nonsense good value local produce with twelve homebrews on tap including the Sherman at 6.4% to tie in with nearby Torcross.

Great photo Richard! Thanks Graham, I did think of you when we took Joshua to see the Sherman he loves them and this was his first physical encounter. The pint of Sherman (4.6) I alluded to is the breweries tribute to the GI's that served down here for Operation Tiger, I didn't try it as I was driving so I had the cooking bitter instead
