Some clever folks here. Yes, it's the letter A on the underside of the side light rubber piece. Judging by the paint underneath it seems they put the side lights on, then buff the paint out. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2022/04/12/PXL_20220412_212034613.jpg)

Morgan bolt things up before the paint hardens fully. I think the uneven paint surface is just a reflection of the compressed rubber.
My Plus 4 has an outline of the cowl badge in the paint, so I can't fit the older style badge without serious work.

Not just Morgan - I've just replaced the bonnet catch fittings for some swanky stainless flat head bolts. The previous bolts had obviously been fitted when the paint was fresh as there's very obvious dents left by the previous ibadly aligned washers (the painter also seemed to like to use copious amounts of skim filler). Not bothered enough to change it back but will have to remedy at some point. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2022/04/13/IMG_20220409_120845-COLLAGE.md.jpg)
