I never heard of LIDL, but it seems there are many in the US. None in Connecticut where I live, but not that far away in New York state. May have to take a drive and check it out.
Pauly, over here they have what they call a middle aisle and it is always packed with man and woman bargains, quite often they have some really good tools in there it's always worth a rootle through as it changes weekly. Their fruit and veg are cheap and always far fresher and better quality than the Sainsbury's store which they think is a little superior Oh, sorry about it. There are two points. At first I‘m German. In Germany exotic cars are (in the most times) toys for to play with it on sunday or sunny days. Not for a basic use. The things (cars) are well kept and out of usual use. LIDL is a big store for the usual things of daily life and in Germany there are bargain days on Monday and Thursday. At this days you find used cars of the middleclass in the carpark. If there is bargain day you don‘t want to park a better car in the middle of the carpark. I‘m critical to do it with our 2019 Volkswagen T-Cross. So the expierence and also the adventure was to be out for to use the Mog as a daily in an in this sight exotic area. And also only for a few miles out, without any form of „warmfahren“. This explanation is with my own words and the possibilities of my school English. As I‘m a little fanatic with „the British style“ I hope I can show the very special experience. Greets René

Greets René We don't do the weekly shop in the Morgan Rene it's just a quick trip if we need something urgently so probably once a month and an extra excuse to exercise the car sort of thing and always parked away from the hoards. It's like a public service it always makes others smile as well as myself. Your explanation was perfect in it's meaning of keeping the Morgan for special occasions Rene and I know exactly what you mean as I started using my 4/4 Sport for work for a couple of months but very quickly found that it took away the special feeling of the weekend outings so stopped doing it.

Great day out at Brooklands today. Good to meet up with many owners from this parish. It's good to be able to be out and about again. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/04/24/IMG_1804-cropped.jpg)

Another drive it day visit to Brooklands Museum, organised by HopMog. Four of us met on the A12 services just south of Ipswich at some unearthly hour then convoyed down. Pleased to see 50+ Morgan's in our alloted parking area close to the banking. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/oIgskIY.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/At3e7Pp.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/Pjulqxd.jpeg) W12 Aero engined Napier Railton ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/Of05fnl.jpeg) Beautifully restored Brough Superior outfit, the chairs tubular frame acting as pressurised reserve fuel tank. Impressive no holds barred demo of the resident chain driven Frazer Nash on the test hill, putting shyly driven modern machines to shame. 300 mile round trip for me taking in virtually all of the M25

Well Richard - I was there today at an event in a collection of Morgans arranged by HopMOG, and counted over 60 cars. Were we at the same place? Another drive it day venue on this occasion to the Brooklands Museum and organised by SwanMog. Four of us met on the A12 services just south of Ipswich at some unearthly hour then convoyed down. Pleased to see nearly 50 Morgan's in our alloted parking area close to the banking.
