How about a shitehawk cull?
We have some as we are within spitting distance of the sea with a freshwater lake in between.
They roost on a few houses’ roofs next to us. The b######s squawk and deposit calling cards everywhere.
People feed swans, geese, ducks on the lake but the shitehawks muscle in. Some even throw bread specifically for them.
One pair of swans have nested again with about 6 eggs. Last year they had 7 cygnets, 5 disappeared fairly soon and one nearing adult was injured ( dog/fox possibly), was caught but didn’t survive, leaving just one. Another pair built a nest in a very exposed spit, laid eggs but abandoned it.
I am off out to clean the car due to some deposits. The Mog is garaged so ok.
