After a bit of research tried their "green stuff" pads and found the bite significantly improved over OE, which offsets the limited assistance on my Roadster. Probably under racing conditions they would be useless but they continue to work fine for me and my driving style. Yep, me too. I fitted a set of Green Stuff pads a couple of years ago and I'm very happy with them. Plenty of feel for road use on my non-assisted Hi-Spec twin pot calipers and standard discs.

Circa 20 years ago I replaced the pads on my Beemer`s floating stainless discs with EBC Green Stuff pads, which seemed to groove the discs that had been in good shape up to the point of replacing the original worn pads... Hmm..?

This evening i removed these anti squeal shims, they were glued in place same as Deejay’s car (not great) I applied a little copper grease before reinstalling. Greenstuff really do arouse polarised opinions. My Roadster had been fitted with Greenstuff before I got it, so I had nothing to compare with, but they performed well on the road over a reasonable mileage, and did the business at the MOT.
When I changed to the Mulfab ventilated discs & Calipers, and used the Mintex pads which came with them, the performance was worse than the Greenstuff on standard discs. Even after 1,000 miles touring Scotland, initial bite was hopeless with an imbalance for the first few seconds until the heat got into the system. At the MoT, on the brake tester it was marginal, and had I not known the tester he might easily have failed it. Changing to Greenstuff transformed the braking. That's my personal experience.
I fitted them to my 2012 Plus 4 and again, no issues.
Oh and on a slightly related issue, I recently did a full brake change on my Golf. Discs and pads front and rear. At the front I fitted Brembo pads. What a revelation. After bedding in, these pads give incredible bite right from the start, without much pedal effort. If only Morgan brakes were anywhere near this!

Fitted the new H Clips this evening….I did damage one when removing the pins…. Just trying to draw out some conclusions on Greenstuff from the different comments… is it the case that at one time they were not so good but have now improved?
I put them on my Classic Mini Cooper and they seemed to be okay once bedded in so was wondering about them for my 4/4 used for normal road driving not track? Was hoping for normal stopping performance but ideally less dust.

So the only option is either don't bother, or take a chance and find out from personal experience. That's two options.
