Jeez, you caught Covid even though you were wearing goggles and a leather cap.... Look after yourself and get well soon.

Fired up the old Mog today and headed out on a much favoured road to a view a collection of interesting machines scheduled to meet in a hotel car park.

Apparently the cream machine is not a real Riley MPH but a modern creation... Don`t know for sure, just overheard a conversation, though it certainly looked straight out of the toy box.

There was a real and well patinated Riley that stole my heart, as did the Indian, took more pics of it than anything else, pity I messed up the one with a +8 in the background..Duh! The Indian owner is an engineer and runs a one man business, he fitted new bushes and reamed my +8 axles a few years back..He is doing very well to ride an Indian in his maturity.

Nice one Stephen good luck on your trip.
With another member of TM we managed a run to a very traditional pub the Victoria in Earl Soham for a pint of Victoria bitter in the Suffolk sunshine.

We would have stopped for coffee on the way but the once free parking in Wickham Market & Framlingham is now £1.10 making a £2 coffee 50% more expensive. I wonder if that will kill the local trade.

On the way back as a volunteer I had a free lunch & preview of the Swords of Kingdoms exhibition at Sutton Hoo combining some of the Staffordshire hoard & some original pieces from the Sutton Hoo ship burial on loan from the British Museum. It is well worth a look and opens Thursday.

To celebrate the 8th anniversary of the formation of Fossilmog, 14 Morgans met for lunch yesterday.
Organised by Graham Keen and Kim, the venue was the Moorland Hotel, near Haytor, on Dartmoor.
Glorious weather in the morning for the drive up on onto the moor, however the clouds gathered and by 4pm the forecast rain arrived.
A soggy drive home, but an excellent and convivial lunch was enjoyed by those present.

That's about twice our little run out to the cliffs at Milford on Sea, and back through the New Forest. A lovely evening for an hour's drive.

Went to a local show today, the 1965 Austin Cambridge brought back some childhood memories, it looked similar to the one my Dad had back in the day.

Visited Sammy Miller's Motorcycle museum in the New Forest yesterday for the first time in 20 years, it has grown from a small collection to a very impressive and well organised collection of c500 bikes going back to the late 1800s.... and a Morgan 3 wheeler in the entrance..
