Thanks everyone for the contributions (and the excellent photographs, Jon). Certainly puts it in perspective. God, the noise is terrifying ! The removal of the undersea coat is probably the explanation for that swirling dust noise.

Belle has one and to be honest the ride height difference is not a lot. As the plate is angled I would hope the bash plate lifts the car if a high obstacle gets in the way

I guess the Morgan will ride a bit higher anyway after fitting one of these,…with your pocket £180 lighter! Just how is that cost justified!
