Day 6. Now on Lake Como so thats 810 miles this week. Tomorrow its down to Genoa for the Palermo night ferry. Been struggling with the heat as has an Alvis and E type. Been very hot and we think we all have fuel vaporisation problems.

Been very hot and we think we all have fuel vaporisation problems. Did you get a chance to see Gambalunga of that parish whilst there or possibly he has taken to his mountain retreat in the heat ? I don't think Ana works in the area now and she sold her Morgan last year.

A nice early evening coastal run out to Kingsbridge and back and as I was driving back along the Slapton Line noticed the CEFAS Endeavour offshore surveying the underwater environs, she is based in Lowestoft and has been around these parts for about a week now. I also noticed a couple of total prats on motorbikes come screaming by about at about 90 in the 40 zone and when I got to Strete Gate end there they were sitting yapping away to each other

Bud 4/4 - Stanley Too right, we have lost a hell of a lot of bikers in the Westcountry this year already and the Polis have been visiting known biker venues re educating the hobbiest / born again brigade so hopefully it will help relieve the current rate of attrition.

Leaving NW Sicily tomorrow for Siracusa and then Malta next week. Another 100 miles last 2 days visiting Erice and Segesta. Back in Sicily in 10 days then Messina, Matera and home. Driving Targa Floria tomorrow en route.
