Seen DM 20/30 times around the world. This is the first time a musician from my v early teenage years (late 70’s/early 80’s), that I’ve been a huge fan of throughout my life, who has died. V sad day for many DM fans around the world I suspect… HB

So sad.. Took my girlfriend at the time (now ) to see them on 14th October 1984 at St George's Hall in Blackburn on their Some Great Reward Tour. Was not looking forward to it being more of a nwobhm fan. They have been one of my "guilty pleasures" ever since Have their greatest hits currently playing throughout the house on the Sonos RIP Fletch
