Nippymog, what color leather did you get in your car? Very nice!

It started what Morgan describe as Honey Tan ( I think ) but after a short while I was convinced it was Ham Tan and quickly went off it big style.
As it was a light colour it was easy to go darker with some leather dye ( nothing special ).
It was a one way change but I am happy with it and it has given the leather a nice patina as the natural texture absorbs it.
And if it gets marked , I just apply some more dye !
It gets treated to some leather polish every now and again to keep it shiny and stop it drying out.

I do like the antique, patinated look of your leather thumbs

Yes! Beautiful leather! I was about to comment about it too! It reminds me of those vintage leather chester sofas... Beautiful patina.

Nippymog, thanks for the explanation. I think this leather looks great. I have the same honey colored leather, so good to know I have options if I ever need a change, or accidentally discolor the leather. Great job and tip!
