I was at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut on Sunday and Monday. A beautiful 1 hour ride to get there and back each day, through the hills and river valleys

Sunday was a car show ( no racing allowed in Connecticut on Sundays). By some miracle I won best in the classic car division.

Monday I watched Trans Am and vintage racing. The weather was spectacular.

Well done Paul. I passed by Lime Rock in my +8 back in Sept 2018. Wanted to take some photos but there was a Ferrari Owners Day there and they wouldn’t let me in!

That's too bad. It's such a beautiful location.

Thanks, all!

Another 230 miles today in 40c. Ferry from Valletta Malta early morning into Pozzallo Sicily then up the east coast of Sicily to Messina. Past smoking Etna. Tomorrow another drive up the toe.

Seems altogether a fantastic adventure Stephen, bringing back memories of a trip down to Sorrento in the +8 many years back, yeah the heat can be quite something in those parts, my old Mog never missed a beat on our circa 4k mile trip, hope your Mog runs likewise and you can enjoy the rest of your trip in wonderful weather..I also hope you are taking plenty of pics to preserve the memories .. smile thumbs

Crossed out of Sicily via Messina to Reggio C this morning. Now 170 miles north on the Toe of Italy. Another roasting day. So 2k miles in 3 weeks.

350 miles today over six hours, leaving home at 4.30am. Clear roads all the way to Perth. Absolutely what Morgans are for.
The only problem was a cycle race over Glen Shee, with maybe 200 riders in multiple pelatons, who it seems own the road.
Now relaxing on the patio overlooking the River Dee at Aboyne with a glass of wine. Perfect weather.
