Normally my morgan 4/4 sport 2010 is sold this week.
I really like this car, but I would still like to have more power.
I start looking for a V6 Roadster model.

I found this model in Germany, what do you think? :

Nestor, that is a lovely stylish car, the Brooklands look the business too and unique for this period of car I think.

I have no real knowledge of the pricing for the Roadster in Europe but I'm sure you will have researched well, good luck I hope it works out for you.

The folding screen is novel. The first I have seen & nicely done. It looks a clean car and and the 3l Roadsters are fun. A 2008 car has not the ST220 engine & getrag box with 280 bhp but a transit van engine and box with only 223 bhp. Though you can I believe chip them.

This so called S2 variant is the least powerful but I'll let other owners comment as I had the earlier version . Compared though to your 4/4 sport I suggest a test drive in 3rd gear & watch the grin as you hit 3,000 rpm.

John, if I'm not mistaken the S1 St220 Roadster was 223 hp and the S2 was 204 hp. Not to be right but to avoid confusion.

Nestor, it is a fundamental choice. Have you test driven a 3.0 Roadster? I would do that if I were you before switching from the 4/4. I've had three Roadsters and a Plus4SS. Since 2014, I've a 4/4 with just under 150 hp. I prefer its agility and maneuverability. It's quick and zippy on the B-road. It doesn't have the seven mile boots like a roadster. But that's how we all feel, we want new experiences. The Roadster makes a good impression and the price is not bad compared to the general price increase. But maybe you have some room for negotiation to 53 or 54000€?

The asking price would equate to around £53k in the UK which is very optimistic for a 2008 S2, with a very basic interior & vinyl hood

indeed the price is audacious.
I will make them a more realistic proposal, we will see the reactions....
this car has been for sale on the internet for a long time, certainly because of the overly optimistic price....

Mine is an S2, made about 6 months after the one currently for sale. I'm happy with mine, but then I'm not a power freak, I just like the car and driving it around the Hampshire countryside.

As far as I can tell, the interior of the black one has various mods: later dashboard ? Stainless indicator cowl and stalks (MK, or Morgan Park ?), expensive but tasty. I do like the alloys, they have to be so much less hassle to keep clean than stainless wire wheels. Personally I'm not a great fan of the folding screen look, there are still too many bugs around (despite the reported massive reduction in buglife in recent years). And although black/black is very "vintage", I've given up on cars with black upholstery and carpets as I can never find things when I lose them behind/under the seats (like wallet/phone/keys.....). And when you do the test-drive, my advice would be particularly to check all the electrics, and take an OBDII reader along so you can identify why e.g. the fuel gauge may not be working !
