we would have had the hassle of getting the car back home (as did one of our party on the same trip). Just so we get some proper details rather than lots of supposition - what advice did the dealer/MMC give to them at the time (I assume they made contact to get instructions)? Yes - they did make contact and followed the advice given.

I have phoned them several times and got the "We are very busy" message and then disconnection. Can I ask when you did this? Fairly recently?
Cheers. Bob, Applied for change of address 3rd week of December on line, my partners licence came back in 4 days. After 6 weeks I phoned got straight through, chap said ah there was a problem with your application and I've sorted it. Got my licence back 3 days later. Renewed my partners licence this Monday (over 70) it came back this morning. Regards,
