No idea - get her to do your family shop tomorrow there is normally a Johnny touting for Insurance windscreen repairs in the car park - job done and she'll be chuffed to bits

Have only tried one once with little success .... of course that may be down to me rather than the kit.

As above I tried one once but it wasn't very good, more trouble than it was worth.
I would in future save the money spent on the kit and go to a windscreen repairer.
Rob.
Why is there only one monopolies commission??

Hi. I had a chip in my 5 series screen which the repair chaps wouldn’t fix as they said it was to close to the edge.
Bought a very similar kit to yours and followed the instructions meticulously and made sure the screen was in bright sunshine during the process
Repair worked perfectly and stayed that way for the 2 more years I owned the car.
I’d use it again.

Back in 2017 I got a small crack in my Morgan's screen 36 hours before I was about to go on a week's trip to the Yorkshire Dales. With no time to get anything else sorted out, I went into Halford's, bought one of these kits and used it.
It worked really well, the repair is still invisible to this day. The trick is to follow the instructions absolutely and to make sure you do the repair quickly before dirt has had a chance to work its way into the crack.
