Ive been maxed out x1000 lately, which I suppose is a good thing !! Never seem to get time to sit and chill these days. Here is my latest project. Some of you might remember a model I made some time ago and posted here of an old ejection seat from a Buccaneer. Well from that model one thing lead to another and Martin Baker asked If I could have a stab at the new F35 Lightning seat !! So here it is. This model is manufactured in aluminium, brass and stainless steel. I have yet to fit a carbon fibre effect ABS back support which I will do next week. Basic dimensions 18' (460mm) tall 7' (180mm) wide ( base) 14' ( 360mm ) long Weight - 7lbs - 3kg V2 will have even more components fitted and more accurate detail in certain areas. Im thinking of ways to make a Model Morgan but its such a complex shape. Ill probably do it in stages. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/06/25/8-Martin-Baker-model-ejection-seat-US16E-F35-lightning-by-Carl-Evans-44.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/06/25/6-Martin-Baker-model-ejection-seat-US16E-F35-lightning-by-Carl-Evans-42.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/06/25/3-Martin-Baker-model-ejection-seat-US16E-F35-lightning-by-Carl-Evans-39.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/06/25/4-Martin-Baker-model-ejection-seat-US16E-F35-lightning-by-Carl-Evans-40.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/06/25/Martin-Baker-model-ejection-seat-US16E-F35-lightning-by-Carl-Evans-31.jpg)

Very smart Bonesie! (Though I'll ignore your imperial measures - 18 foot tall is kind of large! ) Keith, sorry to read about the car.

Graham/George .... slapped the armco at 95 mph going into junction at Doune on Saturday ... collapsed the rear suspension and sledged straight on into the landscape when the track turned right ... ended up 50 yards off track having demolished a farm sign with the front end on the way ... think the old girl might have met her match this time ... very bent!
Bonesie ... any chance you could make a working version the size to fit a single-seater ... could have done with it at the weekend ! 😁
Couldn't resist gazing at the pics again ... there's something about the combination of alloy and brass that's just 'right' ! 👍

Bonesie, you are a model engineer not a model maker, and I stand in humble awe. Well done: did you have MB Drawings to work on?
