Quick meet up with David Byrne and his lovely 4.6 Plus8 at Bridlington seafront pre Race the Waves weekend. Hopefully the weather will hold; scorching now!
I'll look out for you tomorrow David, bring the 8!

Met up with 27 other AngleMoggers and 8 Morgans at Layer Marney in Essex, an old Tudor part finished mansion. Not only did we get a private tour but also saw a display of birds of prey and a cream tea.

I also tried out for the first time as Centre Sec the AngleMog flag which Roger Bull handed over to me in November. I had been told it was big and I think it fits that description.

My thanks to Christine & Roger for the organisation

Surprisingly good turn out with wide range of Classic cars at the small village of Tostock in Suffolk. Run by local pub The Gardener's with cars parked on the adjacent sprawling village green.

No contest for oldest vehicle there.

Despite large audience it started first turn of the handle with help from compression reduction valve.

Straight out of Downton.

Loved this tiny engined 1931 MG Midget J2

35 mile round trip and despite numbers no problem getting a full evening meal although the usual car show fayre was on offer as well.

As the temperature has dropped and vapour lock is not such a high risk today, we had a spin around Derbyshire with a stop off for a proper pub pie eat

That's a great contrasting shot, I hope the pie was good.

Only pie I got was a pork pie from Tesco🤣. It was a great setting under the the Kessock bridge for a Morgan picnic though, an open water swimming competition taking place when we stopped and the weather was great.

Gordon ... good to take advantage of the cracking weather ... just a weekend jaunt or making a trip of it?

Cooperman ... really zingy pic ... red/green complementary colours really set each other off as Richard says

Run up to Beamish for the Mog event. Departed at 7.30 and we were amazed to find the A1 so clear. Under two hours to get there and about 115 miles.

Left just before 3.30, and surprise surprise, the A1 was free running and not busy. After the M1 split it got really deserted because it was blocked between J35 and 34. We get off at 37, before the blockage heading South, so we've never had such good A1 experiences before on a summer Saturday'

The Mog Event was well attended. Beamish is well worth a visit although the main town was heaving. A great day out.

Aye K, crossing to Orkney tomorrow morning for 5 nights, really looking forward to seeing the sights and the forecast is reasonable as well.

Yep, great picture Jon, mine are a bit blue in comparison 👍
