A real labour of love! ... great respect for seeing such a complex project through to a finished, flying aircraft (the paperwork alone would defeat most people! π) ..... a nice slippery looking shape ... one thing that struck me from the spec was the surprising reduction in range from just adding a passenger .... no wonder the airlines don't like excess baggage! π―
Looking forward to hearing about its progress

K Thanks K. On aircraft, especially light ones, it is always a compromise when it comes to loading. By adding a passenger, say weighing in at 180 lbs (82kgs) fuel has to be reduced by 30 US gallons at least to keep below the MAUW, (maximum all up weight). Not to mention also keeping within the C of G range.

Reno, I know we have spoken previously about your plane in private messages but it is an astonishing project from design to completion. You are a very clever and multitalented man, I'm in total awe of your skills. I hope you enjoy many hours of flying in her, my late Father would have loved a flight with you. Thank you for sharing your journey with us all

Thanks all for your appreciation an nice comments.
My latest hurdle is trying to get good insurance cover for my new test pilot. Last year the excuse was that my first test test pilot had reached 70 and even though he had current medical and license he was refused. In 2019 we had cover when the first flight was performed! My βnewβ test pilot is 50 and flies for the airlines and we still have not yet received a positive answer:((
Seems they make it harder to increase premiums!
