Has anyone else ordered this new book by Charles Neal and published by the MSCC?

I have ordered with the benefit of a MSCC discount. It promises to be the "must have publication for any Morgan enthusiast" with 288 pages and well illustrated. I'm looking forward to receiving my copy any day now and hope it lives up to its billing. I have just about every Morgan book published so it's exciting when something new hits the shelves.

Hello David,

like you, I own many Morgan books. I would be happy if you could tell me after reading the book whether the book is also worthwhile for the trad lover. Or whether what has already been written in many other books is repeated.

I will post a quick review when I get it. Morgan history is Morgan history but it will be interesting to see if the book has any new information or interesting perspectives compared to other books. It promises a number of new, unpublished photos sourced from Morgan.

Is 'march' the right word? ... compared to the wider automotive world it's been more of a relaxed shuffle until the last couple of years!! getcoat

I bought a copy at the Mog event last Saturday. I haven't had time to look closely at the contents yet, but it's very nicely produced. I would say in a coffee table style, hardback, large format.

Yes, but shooting yourself in the foot twice is never a good idea which seems to be where we are now in view of recent events wink

They could do worse then send out a free copy to all the CX owners by way of a little consolation for them whilst they await the fix (es).

I bought a copy last Saturday at Mogfest. It is a very comprehensive book and beautifully produced. I`ve already read great chunks of it and I feel it will be a book I will return to frequently. Some great illustrations and being produced by MSCC it is not an expensive promo advert for MMC. Although on the whole it presents Morgans in a positive light as you would expect.

Being absent without leave from TM for a few weeks, I was not aware of the problems with CX cars but I've read about it now. Shocking stuff - CX owners should each get a book plus a Fortnum and Masons hamper.
