Anyone ever heard of this Colin Musgrove special?

That is a nice car. It does keep changing hands though. It was owned by a DonMog member for a while and sold a couple of years ago.

Hopefully this conversion was done some time ago so well sorted. Looks like the B25 variant of BMW's M20 so just short of 170 bhp and at a fair price for such a clean car.

It was parked at the Donington Circuit a couple of years ago and I took a few photos, IIRC it had a bespoke (modified) +6 cowl badge

I bought the car from Richard Thorne and it certainly is interesting and in lovely condition. Colin Musgrove created it back in 1992 and fitted a 2.5 litres straight 6 BMW engine and the standard BMW 5 speed Getrag gearbox to a 3.91:1 axle and uprated front brakes. It slipped in with no major changes and runs beautifully though very noisily because of the resonator back "silencer" - perhaps I'll quieten it down a bit. It has had various owners but I am struggling to find any history or previous owners who can help with that. There is a thread on Talk Morgan written about 2010 which gives more history but that's all I have so anyone who can help with the history I'd be very grateful.

Hi Phil- Silverstone Auctions had the car for sale at one of its NEC sales. They would have had some history in the catalogue. You could also ask MSCC if the car is registered on the database. My wife Gill is the contact at MSCC but we’re on holiday until next Wednesday so try then.

Back in the day there was an article in Miscellany on the car it’s built etc. it noted that Peter Morgan approved of using the +6 badge etc,

Now I can’t tell you when. But would be them it went large format and colour so 1997/8 onwards. I am sure the editor Charles (Editor) or Gill might be able to get a copy of the article if you do t have it.
