The cost and economy is a non issue for me, it's the unavailability of E5 that concerns me looking further down the road.

I'd be up for a Hydrogen conversion in a few years when it happens.

Excellent - btw where has the fishmonger vanished to these days ?

I PM 'ed him early Covid to see how he was coping with his son etc under difficult conditions and heard back but no postings on here from him at all.

There would certainly appear to be some advantages in converting a petrol engine to run on hydrogen, in reality what are the practical/delivery system issues?

I averaged 22.5 on my return trip to Malta over 3800 miles. As reported a couple of weeks ago my 1980 +8 3.9 and 3 E Types all on carbs struggled with fuel vaporisation in really hot weather (38C) running on E5. We all had never had issues previously prior to bio-ethanol in similar weather. I wonder if bioethanol causes an issue?

I hope you got to see Reno's plane and super tastefully modified Speedster Morgan whilst you were there, he is one talented chap.

If we had Reno and Gordon the boat leading the country we would be in safe hands clap
