The asking price for this one is £11,995.

I saw this car over the weekend and noticed that the rear panel is not correct (missing the end strips from top to bottom) and the chassis does not have rear trunnion - when did they phase these out? The wood frame is also pretty shot at the back (doors droop) and the car's left-hand drive: surely an expensive project for a cowled rad DHC?

I think they did away with the rear trunnion around 1953/4

My 1955 Plus 4 4 seat drop head coupe doesn't have a trunnion.

Not a bad price - my Snobmog in a worse condition cost me 8k

Depending on what you can and can't see in the pics I wouldn't be surprised to see it go for the top end of that or more ..... very few 'old-timers' capable of best part of a ton and keeping up with modern traffic that don't bring silly big money these days.

Paid £6k for mine (running and driving but with plenty of body 'challenges' 🙂) .... not done an exhaustive reckoning, but reckon the resto was another £4k on top ..... at £10k it ended up very cheap for a car I knew had been thoroughly gone through from top to bottom but relied on me being able to bypass virtually all of the labour costs) .... that auction car will make someone a really good project.

This Morgan wes sold at Brightwells in March2022 for 8500 including buyers premium.So not much profit being made.
