My patio near Falmouth has just hit 25 degrees. Very comfortable so I'm trying not to panic. Thank God most sane people ignore the BBC.

Dropped my +4 off at Techniques today, was 36 degrees when I left home, was following the Mrs but lost her so was making progress trying to catch her, I can confirm that at high speed it was akin to sitting in front of a hot air paint stripper, exacerbated by the fact that I was going to fast to keep a hat on.
She arrived 5 minutes after I did, apparently I had overtaken her somewhere & she couldn't keep up.
Am going to miss the car this evening, would have been perfect for a midnight run over the Chilterns to cool down.

That's EXACTLY what is happening here in Hampshire. Ethel is making hot tea to cool us down.
