According to our local news we broke the previous record today at 36 deg, with 40+ predicted tomorrow and it's going to stay above 30 tonight...eek
When we popped round to my mums today she was sat in her winter gardening fleece, complaining she was cold, Dementia is a strange and horrible thing !

Settling down with some of our favourite visitors with some of this whilst the ladies have a catch up over iced water with lemon slices - life is good no matter what the BBC propaganda machine might tell us  Have a good evening boys and girls, it's glorious out in the garden with the sea breeze still wafting over us

True John, it's a lovely one Both my Son and I are fans of Greene King Abbot Ale, a great brew and on tap locally for us, both great East Anglian brews. We have 21 now at 2130.

23.4 according to my outside thermometer, hit 37.8 in the shade and an irrelevant 53.6 in the sun earlier today.
A tad warm but I have two thoughts.
First is, this is just how I remember summer as a child; second is, I've previously paid several thousand pounds to have this type of weather and now we get it for free - and we complain!

sorry, the media complain on 'our' behalf.
Schools close, railways cant run, airports and the RAF cant operate. Even our bin men stopped working due to the heat! Bonkers in my humble opinion, the weather is lovely, manage your response to it and enjoy.
