Morning all, having sold my S4 a few months ago and now finding I won't be building my new house any time soon I have come back to the Aero fold again having bought an S1 Aero which hasn't been used since Covid (it's an unusual one with interesting unique spec and history which I will post later).
My cars had a history of wrong VIN and reg numbers (letter O being zero etc). DVSA say I need to have the MOT done 10 days again on the slightly incorrect previous reg 1TTO not 1 TT0. Problem is since the MOT and transfer to original registration the drivers external door handle has stopped working oops which is an MOT failure and the car is booked in to MMC for service...10th Aug so looking at any idea's to the problem so maybe get fixed so can MOT and at least use the car woohoo?
Cheers...and keep cool

Pull the door card off- its probably either a grub screw has fallen out of the handle inside the door, or the lever that actuates the lock inside the door has gone for a burton....

I had this on mine after fiddling around.

I’d flicked the lock switch that’s hidden on the back of the catch under the door card.

If you take a look at the inside of the catch mech on a trad (which is exposed) it’s the same and it’ll show you what I mean

Thanks Simon, small plastic grommit had popped out of a alli plate...not very well engineered as can see most probably happen again. Cheers

Viper, thanks also though found locks on my trad Super Sport very different arrangement to the Aero (with Morgan can be different from one Aero to another to I guess somestick )
