Can anyone definitively tell me relay layout ? Mines a 2017 Four relays by fuses . I’ve been switching and pulling testing for weeks. It’s not a matter of pulling them I have specifically positively identified two And their location . The high beam / same as main beam . And the fuel pump one. Appreciate the help and I’m sure finally knowing what’s what will help many . The wiring diagrams do not tell you nor answer this question . Thanks

As it seems no one else has answered your post up till now....Were I faced with relays to identify on a British vehicle I might be inclined to look at the colours of the wires attached to the relay and compare with wiring code listings such as
Lucas Wiring Colour Guide : How-To Library : The MG Experience
Whether these colours still cover all functionality on a 2017 machine..?
Other than that I suspect the standard possibilities for relay use are as you have discovered fuel pump, horns, coolant fans and other high current demands.
Good luck.

Thanks guys , my M3w is a 2017. The wiring code is a great suggestion. I have several pages ofMorgan electrical color codes from a previous post . However a lot of links to technical stuff on M3w talk Morgan … leads me to Hardcore pornography? Kinda wild 😛 spamming ? Or the link is dead or removed . I have previous used wire code colors to “ confirm “ what I thought was right . However , keep in mind the wires enter the relay plug block from below ! Pretty much some crazy difficult task to look 👀 at them under the fuse/ relay blocks . In fact it’s crazy way more difficult than someone knowing . I can’t be the only 3 wheeler owner that would like /needs to know ? Lol I’ve spent a good 5 hours on web , and tons of multimeter hours on car . I’m hoping someone knows the answer . It’s really not that invoked ofa question . There are 4 relays . I know 2 /where they are located . So it’s 2 relays in question . And they are in the same relay block right smack next to the other two relays . I’m asking cause my Dip beams are out . I’ve read there’s a Dip beam relay . I can’t pull that relay to check …. Cause my Dip beams are out . Pulling relay will not tell me anything/ or cause lights that are out , to go out that’s just part of my dilemma . I would think 🤔 definitely I’d ing the 4 relays and their placement, would be helpful to many many others now and far far into the future. Thanks

Mogegg, according to your description of the fault you have no power going to the main/dip headlamp relay. I don't know the exact position of this relay (no longer own M3W) but its in the main block of four and the only one with five connections, cables as follows:
Orange/blue - relay coil positive Black - relay coil ground Blue (two cables) - one is main relay power from headlamp switch, other to TSM Blue/slate - main beam feed via fuse Blue/pink - dipped beam feed via fuse
The only explanation that fits the fault you describe is that no power is getting to the relay from headlamp switch on the blue cable. I've already made suggestions on checks to solve this issue by tracing power feed on blue cable from headlamp switch and it's connector (12 way but only 9 connections) behind dash. Possibilities are faulty feed to/from or faulty headlamp switch, faulty connection at connector behind dash after switch, break in blue cable to relay.
With this info and a multimeter you should be able to find fault quickly and easily.

Problem solved . Note don’t falsely test relays by swapping them ! If there is a underlying feed flaw or issue . Swapping the relays will tell you nothing . And mislead you . I hope my identification of relay location and function helps people . It took me 2.5 years you get it solid and right ! Lol Guess nobody ever bothered, for just that reason ! Not even Morgan ! Lol Just in case my M3w is a 2017 . Thanks 🙏

Mogegg for the benefit of others can you post a picture of the main group of relays and their function. Even just a description to go with pic would do.

Thanks again Richard . I mean to post pic and describe. I gotta learn how to load acceptable size pic to forum . But I will try hard to do , cause it’s such a helpful thing to others . My whole process of definitely ID each with rock solid certainly on the car . Was incredibly frustrating. The “ just swap out the relays” , to test them all- from dealer …. That tech advice cost me dearly . Dozens of hours ! As you know . My ride is better than ever . That one bad pin fix , with your help Richard - fixed about 4-5 electrical issues on my car 👍🏼 . One ☝️ pin !
