The Super 3 is narrower than an Alpine A110 including mirrors. The A110 feels tiny to me on country lanes but I believe its because when you're first in a 3W or haven't driven one for awhile you tend to feel vulnerable to oncoming traffic due to no / reduced protection plus your right side of your body is half hanging out. You soon get used to it.

One aspect of the apparent width of the M3W and likely the Super 3 is the (perceived) risk of the narrow nearside tyre going off the edge of the road and losing grip esp on narrower country roads with boken edges....this aspect makes both of us feel the car is "quite wide" even after having it now for 10 years....

Hi - just a little update on the production delays. My Swiss dealership just sent me this message:

"Dear Morgan Super 3 buyers and interested customers,

Due to component delivery shortages in the last weeks and months there is and has been also with Morgan Motor Company some delivery delays. According to Morgan, the Morgan Super 3 will get his European Homologation by the end of August. The first Super 3 will be completed and sent out to dealers in October.

As soon as we have the first demo car available, we will conctact you immediately." End of quote.

So therefore, I guess the current delay is about 4 month, since initially it was communicated that the first dealer cars will be produced in June. So I guess my production slot from September will move to somewhere between end of year / Jan 2023. Not the end of the world as January in Switzerland is not the ideal "open top driving weather" rofl

May, even.
I also have a September slot, and I already forgot about seeing this thing in 2023. I was supposed to send my final spec in June. Well, I still did not need to send it laugh

Where I live winter is hit or miss. It can be -3 and snowing, or +13 and sunny, depending on the year smile But I wouldn't try my luck in the Swiss mountains, that's for sure.

I’ve been told mine should be ready for collection by the end of October. Originally it was August/September. I first put my deposit down in November 2021 when I saw the pictures of the disguised car.

Fingers crossed there’s no more delays. I’ll be driving mine back to N.Ireland from the dealer Oakmere near Manchester. It’s gonna be a cold and possibly very wet trip home!

Nice on Chris, I picked my 5 speeder up from the factory in February 2013 and drove it back to Leeds in the snow, avoiding all motorways. Took me 6 or 7 hours I think off hand.

There will be a Super 3 prototype on display this coming weekend at the www.auto-basel.ch/ car show in Basel, Switzerland. Just in case you are in the area.

When you see the M3W and Super 3 together you really notice how much wider the Super 3 is. Certainly looks better from the front than the back, even without a V-Twin, the back looks very unfinished with the number plate hanging in the air.
