Ok Very good update !šŸ‘šŸ¼ Was like a whirlwind of success!
Late yesterday as mentioned my main cut out ? Seems I toasted main /20 amp relay fuse.
That was caused by a toasted Relay . I’m pretty sure I did it very recently. Very
The great news is , having sorted that out getting me back to square one . Started checking greens and blues . Focused on green . Got a bad test on the 12 connector . It was green in green out but only present on the fuse harness end of car . The green run to dash fuse and other sorts was dead . Inside the connector the pin and female for that green were weird ! Very very hard to open connector. Pin had corrosion . Female pushed in . Plastic around each very slightly screwed up . Not burned but prob eventually. Of course with great speed and hope I check everything! And absolutely everything works . Dip light , main beam all idiot dash lights and it even correct my stalk failure to lock on when pushed ! Amazing . Richard and everyone else . Thanks I really hope this can help keep others on the road more . It’s all really expert advice . In my opinion it somewhat goes past even a typical dealers knowledge . Thanks again I need to sit with it before reassemble! Lol
Digest it all. I started at this 2 years back with stalk not locking brights on . I’m way more confident and capable now . I hacked /spliced the two greens around connector

Good to hear you got it sorted in the end. RichardV6 (ex RichardM3W) is the only person I know of who can interoperate those very far from perfect circuit diagrams in the parts list. You are lucky he is about to help you and others with your problems. I think that these electrical problems will become more of an issue in the coming years as the M3W's pile on the miles and the wire looms suffer more with broken wires from fretting and vibrations from the V-Twin, along with corroded plugs.

Sorry a bit lost by your recent posts Mogegg but glad it's sorted thumbs

Reading between the lines lack of power to the headlamp switch and beyond due to corroded pins at 12 way dash connector.

Yes Richard, your hand holding made it possible. And my not giving up. It all came together very quick. 5-10 minutes . After 2 years. This maybe helpful. I surmised switching out relays as diagnostics…. May be a flawed. Approach if there’s an underlying issue in feed. Only say that cause I had blown fuse ( main relay 20 amp) all of a sudden as I proceeded this morning? I tend to think activating the bad feed , AND bad relay then caused fuse blow ?
Just a deeper tech note. The dealer suggested relay swap and a few other people here. Bottom line is one should test relays actually, not via swap .
Re pin issues - maybe helpful. Pin not burned , looked like it was mislined. Female resisted male , and fuss corrosion (tannish). Very hard to separate connector initially .
ALL issues started to correct šŸ‘šŸ¼
Have lock on main now via stalk , dip lights , fog, rear , all idiot lights including fog .
Thanks again to everyone, even Richard ! Lol šŸ˜‚ I’m pretty darn capable technically/electrical…. But the encouragement was the real magic . Im still in shock I did /found it . Im walking around now, feeling like I need something new to obsess / worry badly about ! Ha I just reassembled the car . All good

For sure thanks . Richard is really capable electrically. I’m very good , but he’s couple notches up from me . I never could have worked it out . Merely without him or the confidence he gave me . šŸ‘šŸ¼ Major props to him .

And initially blow ā€œ dipā€ relay - that was not identified by switching out relays . Cause feed was bad to bad relay .
Bad feed (pin) AND. Bad /blown relay . And possibly connector fell off light switch . 3 fails to id and secure /fix .
