Car is 3 months old. Since new the fuel, temp and pressure guage has been a little misty. This is betting worse as the weather cools and is getting a little annoying. Is there an easy fix or is it a new dial?

Regards, Nick.

AAHHHMM mine is the same 8 months old... don't think a new one will make any difference...warm it with a hair drier if it gets bad in winter.!!!!better still stick the sat nav over it..

Hi Nick,
Welcome to the misty dial owners club! smile ooo

I think there has been suggestions to resolve this issue in earlier threads...for example drilling a vent hole in the housings, but I think most of us just continue to read through 'misty eyes'.

Cheers,
N-M

An other solution could be to complete the filling of the dials with fresh water and put a tiny gold fish

They all do it....... Mark at the factory asked me what I thought of the problem! I told him that as a biker and use to a few of my bikes having similar problems that it didn't bother me. It doesn't....usually!!

It never troubled me. Guess it is caused by the oil pressure indicator. In most cars (at least in the golden age) the oil pressure needle "reads" by being directly compressed from the hot becoming engine-oil, which travels up to the indicator in a pipe.

I thought it was just one of the quaint "standard" features of a Morgan.
