And if/when you find the jack, ask yourself what you are going to do with it -- you can't just use it to jack-up one corner. I have a scissor jack = only to be used for a roadside puncture repair. I would use it on the side rails, at a point where there is a crossmember and lifted just enough to get the old wheel off and the new one on.

That is a good looking car. If its the one I think it is, it has some nice engine upgrades.

That is a good looking car. If its the one I think it is, it has some nice engine upgrades. It does indeed - I can see you are in Nottinghamshire and looking at the paperwork with the car that’s where it spent some of its earlier years It certainly goes well but of course I don’t have a baseline with which to compare it

Can I put a tool role in the space under the spare wheel? Unless the tools are hidden cleverly somewhere - and trust me I’ve looked - it seems there are none. Not even a jack! If/when you find the standard tool tray under the carpet/board, check that (due to the poor design, or any maladjustment of your rear suspension) the underside isn't crashing onto the diff housing. And yes, I can see where it’s been in contact with the top of the diff. Not as bad as the photos you share though. Now need to work out what to do about it

Some years ago I bougt a nice alumium tool tray in the GB. On TM was a thread about the man who build it. I am sure in just a few seconds someone here will show the link to this thread  Edit: I don´t know wether the company still makes tool trays but I found the thread myself  Thread about Aluminium Tooltray

Glad you found the tools!
Insofar as specs for this car were limited to years/colours/interiors and the distinctive leather beading you have this may be the car I saw for sale at Williams a little while back. Yes, fully loaded (no wire wheels), and a bit of a head turner.
Regarding the diff bashing the tool tray, if you do a forum search for "bump stops" posted by Rog this may help. I have them and, like others, am very happy with them, if you cannot find them send me a personal message and I will help.
Toolbox....the post by TBM looks useful.
You will find this forum friendly and informative so go and enjoy your car.

Not as bad as the photos you share though. Now need to work out what to do about it Some of us have had custom aluminium (preferable) or wood tooltrays built.
