Done some mods today to help with cooling. First image is the coolant pipe that runs right under the air filter housing, that prewarms the air before it goes to the throttle body. I've wrapped it in exhaust wrap to reduce the temp. Also which can't really be seen in the image is I've replaced the throttle body gasket with one that reduces heat transfer from the intake manifold. The old one was some form of aluminium material that had a checkered texture which was flaking away, so the throttle biddy got a good clean. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/08/03/DSC_0687.jpg) This shows a piece of thick neoprene that aive put either side of the radiator from inside the cowl, to help channel more air through the radiator. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/08/03/DSC_0689.jpg) This last image isn't really a cooling mod, but I've lined the inner of the bonnet where it meets the bonnet rapes to reduce rubbing if the paint. It nicely seals the bonnet at the front and back so I don't mind getting a hose on it without fear of flodding the engine bay. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/08/03/DSC_0690.jpg)

Good mods Leroy, I also lined the back face of the black GRP airbox with thick self adhesive foil where it lies against the engine

K I ordered it from amazon. Neoprene sponge rubber self adhesive strip. 20mm wide x 3mm thick x10m long. Brand NANDEYIBI. £4.95 Including delivery. Used it to line the windscreen pillars to stop them rattling. On the bonnet, due to the profile of it, I used one strip to level it out, then a second layer close to the edge to seal it against the bonnet tape. That was for the bonnet end closest to the windscreen. The cowl end, the tapes are set further in so didn't need to level up the profile.

I have used neoprene tape in the past but it doesn’t last very long at rub points.Instead, I have found the “wooly” part of sticky back Velcro to be much better.
