This thread caught my attention for that very reason, I've been thinking of fitting indicators to my Austin 7 Chummy and thought there might be some bargains here! Talking of bargains, I've had this emailed to me today... ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2022/08/09/Abe-0.png)

Try dropping someone off at an airport. I took my son to Gatwick this morning, no baggage he just hopped out. Entry 4:15am, exit 4:18am. Charge £5. Doncaster, East Midlands & Manchester similar rip off, they even patrol the perimeter roads with ANPR to fine you for a quick drop off Plus Stansted, ###kin rip off.

Beware of the feeder roads around LHR, they have also been turned into a revenue generation program.
The number of cameras around the roads into the tunnel and along the old A4 Bath Road feels unnecessary. The Bath Road I get as it is busy and hotels everywhere but around the airport it's nuts.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

The Gatwick website gatwickairport.com/to-and-from/picking-up-dropping-off/ has this explanation for the charges: " Why are we charging for Drop-offs? ...sustainability remains important to us as an airport. Encouraging more sustainable journeys to the airport, the drop off charge will help Gatwick achieve its sustainability targets..." So trying to make the airport more environmentally friendly, what could be wrong with that?

Perhaps the silly bu66ers are going to use the revenue to lay some green tarmac drop off bays
