Small tour in direction of Brussels airport on the spotting platform

Sorry David, just back from Prescott. I'm a bit of a pedant when it comes to Land Rovers - as in pure LRs, not the spin offs (Range Rover, Disco etc.).

Series 3 Land Rover. Defender name did not arrive until late 1990 for the '91 model year, though there have been people at LR Marketing who insisted the Land Rover has always been called Defender since first shown to the public Easter of 1948. But then what would marketing departments know??

Just can’t help myself. Some more pictures from a beautiful morning drive before the roads get backed up with Long-weekend visitors. Stunning sunrise and not another soul out there. Also was able to capture a picture that I’d been looking forward to for awhile. When I was deciding on colours for the car I had this potential photo and this exact tree in mind. So nice to have this image now of the oak green Morgan with brown leather under the green oak and brown bark that inspired it.

Haha Graham no problem. I should have known better - especially as I have friends that are:series 1 club members and have multiple early LRs. Either way it was a great image
