I have never understood the concept of having a driver based discount applied to an individual car?

If you have an accident your discount is removed.
If renewing you are asked in "you" have had an accident in the last XX years not the car.
But if you are insuring you cannot have "your" NCB on more than one car.

Daft.

While on the subject (ish), I recall how when we lived in Switzerland a few years ago we had a "Wechselnummer". With two cars (of which we only ever drove one at a time), we could swap the stamped metal plate from car-to-car (magnetic holder), which saved road tax and we enjoyed lower insurance.

Well blow me down .
My renewal for the Roadster was £415.00 after contacting all the Morgan specialists the average was £730.00 for the plus 8 providing I had Tracker fitted another £500 plus annual fee .
Heritage didn’t comeback to me so at the last minute I decided to give them a call and see why ,I forgot to chase the under writer he said , five minuets went by and he came back with £405 no tracker needed .
No I said that’s wrong so we did it all again and yes he confirmed that is the correct premium .
So Heritage it is .
I did still have the tracker fitted though .
Result .

My huddle is being done tomorrow so we will see.

Admiral have been on again-off again. Always good if I contract fresh with them and then jacking it up in year 2 so I go elsewhere or tell them to match a better offer. You have to wonder how cynical it is becoming. How much money do they waste placing people on the phone just to go through the same bu___it questions and agree the same price or less. GIven the cost of people/hours and the amount saved they have got to be loosing money on this process. The sooner it is replaced by a well structured web page the better. Except for the jobs I guess. Difficult.

I'm paying £450 through Headley with agreed value of £60k with 3k miles. Footman James wanted a tracker which I didn't want fitted.
