Hello

The altenator in my 1984 Morgan 4/4 (Ford CVH) isn't working anymore. Unfortunately the sticker with original Ford part number is not readable anymore. Can anyone point me to a (preferably online order able) replacement or has the Ford OEM number?

Thanks in advance
Tim

The original application of the engine was XR2 IIRC.

However, the belt will not be XR2 - cannot remember which car it is from (sold our 1985 CVH engined 4/4 8 years ago)

Thank you for the infos. Arwyn's post helped me to get in the right direction.
While the Lucas LRA00604 is still available and quite inexpensive (less than 70euro) at least the variant they offered me had a different connector for the two B+ and D+
On my wiring loom I have the Bosch/Lucas alternator plug

With the number of the Lucas alternator (used on XR3 1.6l CVH engines) I was able to match it to the Ford OEM number 82FB10300EA.
The AS-PL A4011 alternator is a suitable replacement. It also has the additional M6 B+ connector used to for the white-blue wire to the AutoChoke on the Weber 32/34 DFT carb

Regards
Tim
