Truck restoration is quickly becoming the "in" thing, particularly in the USA and Oz ....

These trucks have always been popular down here in Devon a lot were left behind after WWII and a lot are in rat mode which seems fairly appropriate to me given the age of them, I like them all they have real character.

That Chev with the straight six is the same engine and gearbox we had in our first Holden in South Africa, a nice torquey power unit with a crap 3 speed column shifter.

The chassis number of the +8 doesn't appear on the Morganville Registry. I know it's not a complete document. However, the +8 does look nice.

Drove an original Chevy 3100 in mint condition in Martha's Vineyard a few years ago. Horrible column shift. Owner had turned down $60k for it

The truck thing is also very big here, then you buy an Airstream to tow with it. That 1960 Morgan looks great -a pity the hood builders in the states seem to get the roof lines slightly wrong though . (just my opinion)
