This replacement lamp is only approved for use in right-hand traffic. Before travelling to a country with left-hand traffic, e.g. England, a re-fitting of the halogen lamps is necessary.

I am currently in contact with Osram on this topic. There is a long post on the German MGDC forum

It also includes excellent pictures on the installation of the rubber - some people destroyed the cable on the LED....

OSRAM has a German TÜV approval for Wipac headlights with the number E11-0035. These are available at AutoElectricSupplies.co.uk and are used in newer Morgan's. Like many other older British cars my 1984 Morgan had Lucas LUB384 with the number E04-175

The reason I contacted Osram is because I asked them if the could also get an approval for the Lucas headlights as well as add MGs to the list.

When they did their tests they night need to present a few cars with Lucas headlights to the German TÜV at their headquarters in Baveria.
I will post more details here when we hopefully get a date for this.

I have a 2006 model, but there are always surprises with Morgan...

This might be good for you Morganeers in Germany, but it is not self-evident that replacement H4 LEDs are legal in other European countries - so beware and check out your local legislation. As an example, in Norway you cannot legally put a H4 LED bulb in a headlamp that originally is intended for halogen. I think the same goes for UK, so it should have nothing to do with RHD vs.LHD, only the properties of the lamp/reflector and the bulb.It might be changed and legal one day, but this is how it is at the moment. H4 LED is made by many manufacurers, so that is nothing new, although German approval of the Osrams is obviously a novelty. Very good for you, but if you live outside Germany, check first.

I am surprised Morgan Plus 4 is not on the list along with the Roadster. They have the same headlights, I think.

How could I get a copy of the TÜV approval documentation?

The ABG (allgemeine BetriebsGenehmigung) documents for Germany, Austria and France can be found here on the Osram website

It is actually quite easy:if your morgan has a Wipac headlight with the E11-0035 number on it, you can use them in these countries

Found them on Amazon but they are not cheap (145 €), I will wait a little longer.
