Yesterday, actually, we drove up to North Kingstown for our first car show, and took home the "Best Import" trophy. Mostly American cars, antiques, hot rods, Corvettes, etc., etc., but it was good to meet some locals.

Good to get a trophy on your first show outing ... looks like nice weather to bowl along with just the aeroscreens 🙂

An enjoyable 250 miles on backroads to Evreux, stopping at Beauvais Cathedral.



and nearby at the R101 crash site, which is difficult to find in a farmer's field. This is the closest the Roadster could get.



The site is around 300 yards right of the left hand pylon, negotiated through brambles and fallen wood.

Went to Cowley Classic car show today at Nuneham Courtney.

160 miles into a sunny North Wales today, I have to say a well sorted trad Roadster is a lovely car to drive on the twisty stuff

Yesterday, run to Winslow show then via Aylesbury to home. A few Morgans on display at Winslow amongst other classics. Difficult to get any photos with people wandering through. Saw John Winn in his PlusSix in the westbound traffic queue in Stow as we headed east.

Having a negative impact is a bit unfair really because only about 2% of miles travelled on British roads are by bicycle compared with other forms of transport. I understand how frustrating it can be as I live I an area where a lot of cyclists are encountered but if there is any real threat to us car drivers I respectfully suggest that it comes from ourselves and not cyclists.
