When you see the M3W and Super 3 together you really notice how much wider the Super 3 is. Certainly looks better from the front than the back, even without a V-Twin, the back looks very unfinished with the number plate hanging in the air.
About 32cm / 1ft wider. Quite a lot! I guess thats why they called it the Super(sized) 3! I doubt they will ever go back to standard sized 3 wheelers, which is a shame but good news for Pembleton et al.

If my tintop grew by a foot (sideways) I'd never get it though some of the narrow alleyways in places we like to visit (e.g. Harberton in S.Devon), so switching from an M3W to a Super(sized) 3 could come as a bit of a shock to the system. I completely agree on the size comparison. Having seen the Super 3 in person, I could tell it was bigger, but a direct visual comparison really underscores this point. It simply looks so much wider; short and squat in its stance. I do think the center running/fog lamps really help the appearance of the grill and fill that visual void.

Are they using this as a spotter? A large floodlight on the passenger side and the radio antennae to call in any findings.

What did the driver report about reliability? The driver is Steve Morris who had done 1,000 miles in 2 days with no problems
