Some years ago I either read this or it happened to me, really I can't remember which! But returning to the car to find a perfect lipstick kiss mark on the windscreen.

I wasparking the Mog in Mumbles, putting the hood up before going for a coffee. A couple of women walked past....
How gorgeous was the comment.
My reply...Me or the car?
Her reply...both!
Made my day!
Mind you she had thick glasses...

156 miles from Oviedo to Fuente De, but the bit that counts was the last 90 miles from Cangas de Onis around the Picos. What a drive! Stunning at every turn.

Many thanks for sharing your trip and posting such great pics. reminding me of the time some years back when we enjoyed driving through the Picos in our +8 on our way to Santandere from Los Romanes in Andalucia.

Did an oil change last night so obviously had to do a 60 mile test run to make sure it was slippery .... parked in amongst the grown-up's cars at the Broch beach while I had a cuppa .. then home via a visit to friends.

Plenty of surfers out today.

Beach was looking good in the sun today .... you can just see the surfers .... to the right of this pic the beach is a crescent mile of lovely sand backed with 70 ft sand dunes. But this bit with the sea defences has better waves

Home again safe and sound .... a bit dusty and bug-splattered ... but a perfect sunny day for some screen-down motoring.

Not the fastest ... not the most comfortable ... but I think definitely the most engaging drive of any car I've owned ... worth every minute of the work that went into rescuing her.

150 miles through the North East arm of the Picos, then via Gaudi's El Cappricho house down the motorway to Bilbao. Because we are so low slung, the trafficmaster put us right at the front by the exit doors rather than risk any ramps, so we will be first off.

51 Aarschot Classic Car Rally.

[Linked Image]

Last Sunday, the 4th of July, my wife and I joined our first ever classic car rally. Me driving and my wife as the navigator. Some of the participants warned us that it would definitely lead to a quarrel at some point. But no such thing, all went well bar a tiny mistake due to the fact there were only kms in the pacenotes and our speedometer is in miles. In fact some of the other participants came to congratulate us and they said the best navigator was sitting in my car. There were 22 cars, but our Morgan was the centre of attention: the representative of Glasurit (one of the sponsors) asked us if she could take a photo of the car with the advertising sticker to show her boss his money was well spent. We had a great day, with lunch in the Azelhof in Lier (well known by all equetrians). The owner gave us a tour around the place while there was a jumping competition going on. In all we did a 135 km tour.

Sounds like a fun trip ... your car certainly looks the part! ... does the hamper hold supplies in case you got lost for a day or two?? 😄
